North Pole nail polish is a radiant blue jelly nail polish with a mission. Jasmin’s created this nail polish to represent the icy meltwater that is increasingly turning the white Arctic into deep shades of blue with temperatures rising every year.
As chosen by Jasmin, $1.00 from every bottle sold will go to Oceans North, an organisation that supports marine conservation in partnership with Indigenous and coastal communities in Canadian Artic facing the impact of climate change.
The buildable jelly formula gives it an incredible amount of dimension and gloss when worn on it ‘s own. It also makes it a unique tool for layered and semitransparent nail art looks.
Start with clean and dry nails.
Apply a base coat like Ridge Filling Base Coat.
Then shake North Pole nail polish.
Apply two (2) layers for transparent coverage.
Build up your coverage by applying more layers.
Finally, apply a top coat like Fast Dry Top Coat.

It is a beautiful colour and exactly the kind of shade I wanted; however, even going into my purchase knowing it was thin and needed many coats for full coverage, I was a little surprised to find just how many coats I truly required. It's very thin, and I found I needed more than three coats to make it opaque (5-6 coats), and even then, it was still a bit transparent. I'm not going to knock it stars for that because that's its draw, and it is a beautiful blue, but just a heads up to others who want full coverage and go into this expecting 3-4 coats to do the job.
