Steep learning curve, but now I love it

This base coat is very different in formula and consistency than any other base coat I've ever used, and was a complete fail the first time I tried it. But I asked around some friends that use peel off regularly and got some good tips, plus figured a few things out on my own, and now that I've got the hang of it it's fantastic. It mostly comes down to thin coats, very clean nails (I use acetone to remove oily residue and dehydrate them which helps), and soaking any excess that accumulates around the edges of the cuticles with qtips. I have very curved nails so it can be hard to get it to stick in the middle as it tends to run off to the sides a bit but I'd rather put more effort into a good base coat that saves having to use remover at the other end, so for me it is worth it. My nails also hold onto everything like there's no tomorrow so if I don't pick at it I can easily get a week out of it, but if I want to change sooner it peels off like a dream

Lifesaver for glitter polish lovers!

Definitely worth it if you love glitter polishes, but hate taking them off (or if your nails cannot handle acetone remover soaking/foil removal method). The trick is to apply a very thin coat and let it dry completely until it turns transparent: if you apply too much, it will take too long to dry, and even thin coats tend to take a bit longer than a standard base coat, but the result is worth it. The removal process itself is super easy, too: I use a manicure stick to lift off the edge of the applied coats of polish, then gently pull it —and it peels off the nail in a single sheet. My manicures usually last 3-5 days with it, and I wash my hands a lot, so I consider this to be a very good result in general (not all polishes and bases last this long on me) and an excellent result for peel-off bases (many I had tried before would start chipping or peeling off the next day). Loving this product and definitely will repurchase when I run out of it.

I like this base coat for my toes. As I like glitters and shimmers it makes it a little easier to remove.

Easy if you know how

I like this base, but I didn't initially. I notice that someone else has said that it came unstuck too easily for them, and this was my experience, for a start. While I appreciated the ease of removing glitter polish, I didn't like the fact that half my nail colour would randomly fall off. What I've discovered is that if I apply a regular base coat to my nail first, and then this coat, it holds much better. I would also recommend applying it reasonably thin. Following that technique I've found the glitter polish stays on, but also comes off really easily when I want to remove it. I'm guessing that the failure was between my nail and the peel off coat, not between the peel off and the glitter. By applying a regular base coat under this, it stays stuck to my nail and the polish lasts well on top. Now that I've figured out what works, I'm a fan, but initially I was frustrated with this base.

I think I’ve tried a lot of peel off basecoats but this bottle trumps all other brands in terms of staying power. Lasts the longest even with frequent handwashing.

works wonderfully! i will never do another glitter mani without this base coat again.

This is a must-have with glitter heavy polishes like Unicorn or Wizardry. I love being able to wear something that can be difficult to remove with no fear because I'll be able to peel it off with little fuss when I choose. This is a great formula that I have found has a longer wear time than other peel-off polishes I've used, given the right nail prep.

This stuff is fantastic. Really lovely: good finish, comes off nicely, and lasts for more than a week if you're not too rough. So happy with it!

This was the first peel off base I ever tried, and it works well, though I do wish it dried a little faster. I do like that it doesn't peel in the first day on it's own like some peel of bases do.

Love this. I use it for glitter polishes and I also paint some around my nail to peel off any accidental polish on my skin.
