Winter Polish Ideas
Nail polish fashion changes from season to season, but classic colors are actual at any time: for example reds and nudes. Usually polish lovers paint their nails without regard for fashion, but I decided to find some winter nail color trends and present them in Picture Polish shades.
Shine bright like a diamond
Silver and gold are always in at holiday season. You can use these colors as the accents on one or several nails. Holo On Top! is not only a topper: you can wear it as a silver polish alone in two coats. Want something special? Take Holo Star (retired) and catch some silver stars with a brush or a toothpick. Apply them on your nails over the dark shades for a smart manicure.
Back to the future
Metallic shades are trending too. Choose rose gold Metallic Mush for a futuristic look. You can also paint your nails with one of four multichrome holo metal shades: Ethereal, Aquiver, Serendipity of Epiphany (retired). They shift from pink to gold and from blue to green – for all tastes!
Red over heels
Reds are never going out of fashion, but in winter they should be richer and darker than in the other seasons. Take Bridget, Holo Berries or Christine if you like warmer shades. They are classy and festive at the same time! If you like darks, choose deep berry and burgundy colors – such as Vampire or Wine.
50 shades of nudes
Not only beige and pinks, but soft taupe and grey shades are also trending nudes. For example, Merge and Sisters go perfectly with your favourite cozy sweaters. You can also choose Beige or Nougat if you prefer colors that are more neutral.
Moody blues
It’s cold outside? Time for dark blue and teal shades! Riviera or Cosmos will be perfect for discreet outfit – and sparkling Saphira is the best choice for a party look!
Rich tones for winter
For deep, rich tones you can use Kako, Pooh or Amber – if you want something exquisite: this golden brown shade with sparkling holo is the best choice for a New Year’s Eve! And if you think about grey tones, choose Winter. What can be better for this time of the year?
After all don’t forget to use a fast day top coat like Looking Glass: wet nails are in style right now!
