A brief word about a common ingredient in cosmetic products: Benzophenone-1.
This additive is an ultraviolet light absorber, which helps stop colours from fading or yellowing, in addition to preventing chipping. The beauty industry can often use scare tactics in marketing, but we want to be informative and leave the decision to you. Unfortunately, there is no way to make a completely chemical-free nail polish…yet. The EU banned Benzophenone in 2023, while Canada limits quantities at no more than 3%. As you can see, acceptable percentages of Benzophenone-1 vary worldwide, meaning there is no universal standard. While Benzophenone-1 is a chemical component, studies have shown that any potential dangers are minimal when used in small quantities and in a well-ventilated area.
So, for the time being our much loved fast dry top coat – Looking Glass – which contains less than 3% of Benzophenone-1 will continue to be available to customers. If a fast-drying top coat that matches the performance of our current one becomes available without it, we will consider making the switch.

Looking Glass is my favourite fast drying top coat. Great formula/consistency, and the wide brush for easy application. I have just under a third of a bottle left so bought another one with my recent order, so I don't run out.
Hi ladies, I am loving my new colours. I wore Beetle for a trip to Sydney and my son’s Nameday, it lasted a fortnight with two coats of fill em up, two coats of beetle and a coat of looking glass. Had to take it off to change for Christmas. Same amount of coats this time with velvet, it might last till NYE. Love your product.

It dries so fast and leaves a lovely shine
Quick drying and glossy. I especially like the brush shape in Picture Polish bottles; the curved end makes it easier to apply evenly at the cuticle. I’ve used Looking Glass over Wanda, a beautiful colour (plus a little bit of nail art!)
I bought Wanda after seeing a review on your website, on 24 June 2024, by R.K. I agree with R.K. that it does lean a bit more to purple but still in the pink family. I love the colour.
Given my impatience and clumsiness, having this shiny top coat dry quickly helps me avoid ruining my nails 5 minutes after they're painted.

Can hardly keep this spectacular top coat in the house - I introduced my Mom and Sister to it and they love it so much they keep giving it away so others can experience the joy of Looking Glass Top Coat! Clear, glossy, high shine, non-shrinking, and dries so fast you can do your nails minutes before going to bed (or out the door) with no worries. Keeps manicure perfect for so long I start hunting for non-existent tip wear or chips so I can change colors!
The bottle I was sent first ended up being the wrong product (if you get it and it's not working how it should definitely get in contact!) but the Picture Polish team were amazing in working with me and ended up sending another bottle. I can now say with confidence it is as good as others have already said. Easy to apply, dries in about 3-5 minutes, smooth and glossy but better with two coats
