Lakodom – a light grey holographic polish

The light grey holographic nail polish was created with @LakoDom in 2014. It’s draws inspiration from Polina’s idea that a nail polish can be tender and delicate but not dull or boring.

Holographic nail polish: in sunlight, your nails sparkle with every colour of the rainbow.
Grey nail polish: this light grey nail polish offers a softer appearance while remaining bright and crisp.

How To

Nail Polish Application Guide

Begin with clean and dry nails.

Apply a base, such as Ridge Filling B|C or Naked Nail Care B|C

Shake nail polish well before use.

Apply a thin layer of polish and allow it to dry for 2-3 minutes.

Next, apply a second layer using the standard amount of polish, letting it air dry for 3 to 4 minutes.

Finish with a topcoat like Fast Dry T|C.

Alternatively, you can use Top’n Base for a versatile all-in-one solution.

Finally, prioritise your Nail Care to ensure your nails look fabulous!

Achieving Wudu-Friendly Nails

For a Wudu-friendly manicure, apply two thin layers of nail products using the following combinations:

Base coat then nail polish
Nail polish then topcoat
Nail Polish on its own: one or two layers

A pretty, serene light grey

This is a very *very* light grey - it looks almost white at a first glance. I think the pictures are quite accurate to the actual shade. It's a pretty, elegant colour. It applies smoothly and is opaque in three coats. The holo is very subtle, but noticeable when using a flashlight or when in sunlight.

This is such a pretty, delicate shade. I have very white skin and I was worried this shade would look too grey on me, but it actually works. It looks silvery and icy, would be perfect for winter. I had trouble getting consistent coverage as it's a bit streaky, while also kinda gloopy, but it was opaque in 2 coats. I found it dented easily white drying, maybe because of how thick it is.

Beautiful shade with beautiful holo flakes. However it was more grey than I thought it would be. Still one of my favourite shades though!

I love this colour, along with all the other PP greys/whites. It is quite sheer and still not super full coverage at 3 coats for me, but I apply quite thin coats. But I personally don't mind sheer and the colour and sparkle more than make up for this.

I hate bright white on me, but LakoDom isn't white despite it looking it. It has the tiniest bit of grey which completely takes the edge off wearing a white. I love, love, love it, especially as a base coat for reverse stamping <3

Very slightly gray and full of glitter this white polish is ideal to go with all your desires. Little pigmented it requires 3 layers for a total coverage.
