Known for its therapeutic aromatherapy qualities, the lavender plant has long been a staple in beauty products. For us, Jules and Megs, it’s a little more personal. Of all the flowers our Mum loved, lavender was her favourite. She grew it in her garden, and whenever we see or smell lavender, we think of her. Lavender nail polish is a soft purple holographic with a gold shimmer that comes alive in the sunlight.
Initially, this cheery colour began as a collaboration shade, but unfortunately, it was not to be. We loved it then and even more so now, particularly as it reminds us of our Mum. The name for Lavender nail polish came from Sheridan in our Picture Polish Squad group on Facebook (join the fun here!). Since 2009, Picture Polish has become the go-to brand for vibrant, damage-free nail polish, curable lacquer, and accessories. With every bottle of PP and PC sold, we donate 50 cents to the Animal Welfare League Queensland.
Start with clean and dry nails.
Apply a base coat like Ridge Filling B|C.
Next, give the nail polish a good shake.
Apply a thin coat and allow it to dry for 2-3 minutes.
Next, apply a second coat using the usual amount of polish and let it air dry for 3 to 4 minutes.
Lastly, apply a top coat like Fast Dry T|C or a Matte T|C.
Alternatively, opt for Top’n Base Coat which is a versatile all-in-one product.
How to store:
Caring for your nail polish is very important. So, store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep away from heat, flame and unsupervised children.
